Isn't that exciting?? All our little plants are growing and we are busy busy busy planting and watering and feeding!
The boss man watering and fertilizing away! It's an everyday occurrence here... making sure these little guys get everything they need.
Our beloved Susan pruning our little guys. I learned something new about growing plants today from talking to her. Did you know that when growing flowers, when they are still small, if you pick off the heads (where the blossoms would form) they will sprout into two or three new heads. Then when those heads pop up, if you pick them off again, they will sprout into two or three new heads. This means you eventually will have lots and lots of blooms from one plant instead of a single bloom from a single plant. Interesting isn't it?
Aren't these little blooms a happy site with all of this strange weather? To me it means that no matter what we say, spring will come and we will have green leaves and flowers again! It's a nice thought. Get ready for it... We are so excited!!
